Nashville attorney Jonathan P. Farmer has joined the law firm of Farmer & Luna, PLLC as an associate as of September 1, 2003.  "Jonathan will be a solid addition to our firm," partner J. W. Luna said.  His extensive experience in criminal litigation and strong ties to the Nashville community will benefit our clients and help us develop new business opportunities."  In addition to criminal litigation, Farmer practices in the areas of civil litigation and regulatory and administrative law.

Prior to joining Farmer and Luna, Farmer served as an assistant Metropolitan Nashville public defender since 2000.  A Nashville native and 1991 graduate of Father Ryan High School, Farmer earned his B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee in 1996 and his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2000.

Farmer is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.  From 2000 to 2003, he was a member of the Harry Phillips Chapter of the American Inns of Courts.  In addition, Farmer is a member of Hands On Nashville, a volunteer organization.
