Farmer & Luna, PLLC announced on February 14, 2003 that former National Transportation Safety Board Chairman Jim Hall has affiliated with the firm on an of-counsel basis. The firm has also announced that Leslie Shechter has joined the firm as a member and Jennifer Brundige has become an associate with the firm.

“Jim Hall’s ties to Tennessee and the experience he has developed in Washington and around the world will be a great complement to our growing team here,” said Farmer & Luna founding member Bill Farmer.

“Jim’s national and international experience in regulatory and governmental affairs will be a tremendous asset to our firm, and his six years of service in former Gov. Ned McWherter’s Cabinet as Director of the State Planning Office, will supplement our state and local regulatory and governmental affairs practice,” said J.W. Luna, another founding member of the firm.

“Bill Farmer and J.W. Luna are great friends with fine legal reputations,” Hall said. “I look forward to working with their firm from Washington and Nashville on an of-counsel basis.”

Hall will continue to serve as principal of Hall & Associates LLC, a government and regulatory affairs consulting firm, with offices in Washington, D.C., and Chattanooga, that specializes in transportation safety and security issues and crisis communication and management. In addition, Hall recently affiliated with Speiser Krause, one of the nation’s leading aviation law firms, as a special consultant on aviation-accident investigations.
